Introduction

iPrioritize is a simple tool to ensure that you spend your time efficiently. By answering a series of simple questions you can quickly prioritize a list of goals and steps, and easily see which require you to prioritize and focus on right now, which to delegate, and which ones you can afford to put off for later.

iPrioritize is an iPad and iPhone App which delivers a simple but elegant productivity tool to help busy business-people to spend their time more efficiently. It enables you to create goals and steps within them, then by answering some quick and simple questions you can rapidly and automatically prioritise items. iPrioritize generates a crystal clear traffic-light system to display the order of steps, so that you know what to do next.

iPrioritize is a product of The Simple Idea, part of the Psi Pi Group Limited. The Simple Idea creates tools, applications and platforms which set out to solve simple, obvious and everyday problems for the business, online marketing and web development communities. iPrioritize is a brainchild of Simon Hedley, a prolific web marketing entrepreneur behind concepts including The Domain Dashboard and FreshForms.

Getting Started - Quick Start Guide

1)Your first step is to add a goal by (a) going to the Goals icon at the bottom left, and then (b) clicking the Plus icon.

2) Enter a Goal Name, then click Done (to hide the keyboard) and finally click Save.

This should be a name that is memorable to you.
It's ideal to frame that as something that is "S.M.A.R.T."

S.M.A.R.T. Goals are:
Specific Measurable Achievable Relevent Timed

3) Click on the Goal, and the app moves to the Steps screen, Here you you add Steps that you can think of to achieve that goal.

Click the Plus icon in the bottom right hand corner to add your first step.

4) Enter a Name for this Step, and a description as well if there are extra notes you want to record, then click Done (to hide the keyboard) and then Save.

5) When you save a step, the app will prompt you with six questions, which you need to answer in order to calculate your priorities.

Enter your first response, and don’t overthink. And remember, “Don’t know” means NO.

6) As you think up new Goals and Steps, repeat the relevant steps from 1 to 5 above.

You can also Reprioritize tasks, and we recommend you review your prioritized Goals and Steps on a regular basis.
It is a good idea to set a diary reminder that will alert you to "iPrioritize" on a regular basis, especially when you are just starting out.

Having things be automated and easy is something that we're passionate about at The Simple Idea, and which we know will make a big difference for many people.

Now the best thing is you have iPrioritize with you, whenever and wherever you take your iPhone or iPad (which for many of us is all the time). Good luck and this brings us to an end of our Quick Start Guide to iPrioritize.

Interpreting the iPrioritized list.

iPrioritize will automatically prioritize your goals and steps, based on your answers, using our "Magic Formula".

iPrioritize generates a crystal clear traffic-light system to display the order of steps, so that you know what to do next.

Steps are colour coded in order of priority from Red to Green.

Red means High Priority
Do these first.

Amber means Medium Priority
Do these when Red Steps are complete or delegate them.
